DB-6000 Destruction Device
A safe and clean alternative to hard drive shredding, the DB-6000 is a portable, heavy duty hard drive destruction device. Designed for ease-of-use, reliability and safety, the DB-6000 provides excellent throughput and efficiency in a hard drive destruction device.
The Destruction Solution
Prior to the disposal of hard drives, the National Security Agency and Department of Defense require, at minimum, for hard drives to be degaussed. In addition to degaussing, they also recommend for hard drives to be physically destroyed.

Quick, Quiet and Safe
Offering the choice of manual or drill-powered operation, the DB-6000 destruction device accommodates multiple hard drives simultaneously for fast destruction (up to 3,600 per hour).

Energy Efficient
No AC electricity required. The DB-6000 provides flexibility by allowing the operator to choose from two power sources: an effortless handle or cordless drill (drill not included).
Degauss and Destroy Duo
For complete compliance with NSA/DoD specifications for erasure of electronic information on hard disk drives, pair the DB-6000 destruction device with any Data Security, Inc. Degausser. Contact a representative to learn more.

PERFORMANCE
Disk Destruction
Data Security, Inc.'s DB-6000 destruction device is easy to operate. Open the door, insert the media, and rorate the ambidextrious handle--interchangable for right, or left-handed uses, as shown here--to begin the crushing process. The indestructible ram descends with a force exceeding 60,000 psi which bends, folds and crushes the platters and curcuitry of the hard drive, rendering it unsasble. For greater performance and speed, convert to drill-powered mode. Simply remove and stow the handle, attach the supplied bit adaper and cordless drill to power the unit. Drill not included.
Portable
It's small footprint and lightweight design makes it easy to transport from one location to another. Wheeled cart and deployment case available, ask a representative for details.
Durable
Built to last, the powerful crushing blade resists chipping and dulling. The components of the DB-6000 are so durable, we expect it to provide reliable service beyond our guarantee.
Media Size
Chamber accommodates all media up to 4 inches (102 mm) wide by 6 inches (152 mm) deep by 2 inches (51 mm) high. The DB-6000 can accommodate multiple
laptop hard drives per cycle for maxium efficiency.
Cycle Time
Method dependant, 8-12 seconds typical.
