Magnetic Fields

The health and safety of our customers is very important to us. Often we receive questions concerning the health effects of magnetic fields to end users. There is no evidence suggesting adverse health effects due to exposure of magnetic fields. The World Health Organization concluded that current evidence does not confirm the existence of any health consequences.

Degausser Design

Stray magnetic fields are wasted energy. Data Security degaussers contain the magnetic fields inside the degausser where the magnetic fields are more productive.

Operator Safety

Data Security manufactures degaussers to minimize operator involvement in the degaussing process, per National Security Agency requirements. Users insert the media, press start, and remove the media at the end of the cycle. This easy-to-operate design has many advantages over commercial tabletop or platform-style degaussers that require users to be involved throughout the degaussing process:
