PERFORMANCE

Erasure – Scientific testing confirms that this degausser will completely erase hard disk media with coercivity ratings up to 1500 Oe and tape media with coercivity ratings up to 750 Oe.
Media Size – Accepts full-height hard disks, reels, and cassettes with a diameter up to 10.5 in. Adapters available for most compatible media sizes.

CONTROLS & INDICATORS

Illuminated Circuit Breaker/Power Switch.
Operator Push-Button with ERASE, RESET, LID OPEN, and TEMP Indicators – Lamp test functions at power on. Thermal switches automatically reset to protect degaussing coil and drive motors. Microcontroller automates degaussing process. Audible alarm activates upon automatic fault detection.
