PERFORMANCE

  • Erasure – 90 dB typical on oxide tape with coercivity ratings through 1,000 Oe
  • Media Size – Accepts cassettes and cartridges up to large D1 size and reels up to 1 in wide with a diameter of 14 in
  • Belt Speed – 4 ips
  • Throughput – 10 to 150 cassettes per minute depending upon size and technique
  • Transport – Conveyor belt, needs no adapters
  • Degaussing Safeguards – Continuous monitoring of field current. Temperature protection safely limits duty cycle during continuous operation

CONTROLS & INDICATORS

  • Illuminated circuit breaker/power switch energizes ventilation fans and controller
  • ERASE push-button energizes erasing coil and motor
  • RESET push-button stops erasure for maximum cooling while power switch is left on. Amp meter monitors erase-field currents
