Tape Cleaner/Evaluator – TE-9900

Data Security’s TE-9900 Cleaner/Inspector/Rewinder is designed to preserve and protect your VHS/S-VHS tape with its powerful cleaning and complete diagnosis. Maximize the quality and reliability of your VHS/S-VHS data collection and/or storage operations and discover tape flaws before they destroy valuable data.

PERFORMANCE

Tape Speed – Up to 75 times standard NTSC play speed in forward and reverse modes.
Displays – Six separate displays: Total Defect Counter, Tape Length Counter, Damaged Section Display, Defect Location Display, Diagnostic Display, and Number of Defect Channels (top, middle, bottom).
Burnishing System – Precision sapphire burnishing.
Cleaning System – Specially formulated lint-free cleaning tissues advance automatically and clean recording side of tape.
Detection System – Laser scan damage detection system does not affect recorded signals.

CONTROLS & INDICATORS

Sensitivity readouts on front panel displays. Auto, Forward, Reverse, Stop, Eject, Tape Number, Date, Print, and Numeric Keypad. All solid-state circuitry, including microprocessor control systems. Electronic tape tension sensors and drive motor controls.

DIAGNOSTICS

Monitors status of tape transport and detection systems and provides front panel diagnostic displays.

PRINTER

Optional external printer provides three hard copy reports. Prints defect counts and charts defect locations. Uses quiet, fast printing system.
