Quickly erase multiple tapes and hard disk drives (HDDs) at once, all without disassembly. Simply open the door, insert the media and press the start button. Controls are positioned at a comfortable, ergonomic height. Wheels on the base allow the degausser to be rolled into a closet for storage or down the hall to another office.

HD-1T Performance
ERASURE
Superior magnetic field strength exceeds DoD requirements for purging classified. Independent scientific testing confirms this degausser erases Longitudinal Magnetic Recorded (LMR) and Perpendicular Magnetic Recorded (PMR) hard disk media with a coercivity of 5000 Oersteds and magnetic tape media with a coercivity of 2800 Oersteds.*

LONGEST USEFUL LIFE
The HD-1T has the strongest minimum effective magnetic field of any degausser listed in the NSA EPL-Degausser. In fact, tests conducted by NSA have shown the HD-1T to fully erase a 5000 Oersted hard drive with only 50% of its total magnetic field strength, making the HD-1T the best defense solution for future higher coercivity magnetic media technologies.
